Walking Tall Through Your Journey (No Matter How Tough) Is Inspiration, Encouragement, and Example For Others! THE IDECLAIR SHOW… REAL. RAW. RIGHT NOW… IDECLAIR IT!

Good Friday, and thank you ALL so much, for listening to, THE IDECLAIR SHOW…  and participating in IDECLAIR MEDIA…

As we live through, read about, and process the varying degrees of madness… political, professional, and personal, having a sense of gratitude, respect, and empathy for what our fellow citizens are going through is essential.

Clearly Americans are walking through very tough economic times.   Tragically, extreme stresses are proving to be too much for many.  Prayers to families who have fallen to the toughness of the times.   http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/08/9312499-second-child-shot-by-mother-in-welfare-office-standoff-dies .

The artform and skill of holding on, and hanging in tough times as these… is paramount.   Gratitude for life’s simplest things (breathing, walking, smiling, and the ability to love, and be loved) can change how we think and feel about ourselves, and the world around us.

I realize it is very difficult to think positive while blatant, and in your face political, and governing corruption is ongoing right before our eyes, and impacting the very essence of our lives.

Case in point, Republicans in political power should exercise empathy with their fellow citizens in these unprecedented tough times.  We have witnessed a series of Republican led Congressional blocking of various bills to bring employment to Americans. http://www.whitehouse.gov/economy/jobs/we-cant-wait

The entire Republican brand is horrifically callous, and has shown a complete detachment to the brutal reality of the longterm economic instability millions of Americans are living through.

Senate Republicans blocked the CFPB nomination of Richard Cordray, the eminently qualified Fmr. Ohio Attorney General chosen to lead this desperately needed agency inspired by Dr. Elizabeth Warren.   http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/12/08/president-obama-discusses-richard-cordray-and-payroll-tax-cut

Obviously the protection of average Americans consumer transactions is obviously needed, and Fmr. Ohio AG Cordray would have been the perfect choice.  Apparently Republicans would prefer to continue the disastrous policies of deregulation, and leave Americans exposed to even more financial devastation.

Millions of Wall St. concocted predatory loans, leaving tens of millions without homes, is the most blatant evidence of the need for CFPB consumer protection.

Americans have watched Senate Republicans block the Cordray CFPB nomination due to their canine loyalty to the 1%, and a complete lack of empathy, compassion, and common sense for the 99% of Americans, which clearly and unfortunately governs Republicans.

Look, we could go on, and on, and on, about how extreme, and unconcerned Republicans are regarding average Americans lives, concerns, and anxieties about our jobs, homes, and communities.  It is truly tragic.

Which brings me back to holding on, and hanging in… staying in a mindset of gratitude, and knowing we cannot stop standing, fighting, and speaking to the numberline of wrongs we face today.
